The Rebbe established The Shluchim Office in 5747 (1986) and empowered it with the mission to assist, support and serve as a central hub for the Chabad-Lubavitch Shluchim and their families.
The mission of Shlichus Market is to empower Shluchim by providing the products and resources they need to carry out their Shlichus—at prices they can afford. Through strategic partnerships, bulk purchasing, and a commitment to service, we help make essential supplies more accessible so Shluchim can focus on strengthening Jewish life in their communities.
How our pricing works
Not for profit. At cost. Only for Shluchim.
Shlichus Market is a service of the Shluchim Office, not a business. We buy in bulk on behalf of Shluchim everywhere and pass every bit of the savings on to you, so more of your budget goes into your Shlichus.
Why we charge at all
It's a fair question. If Shlichus Market is a service, why isn't it free?
Because a free service wouldn't last. Buying stock, warehousing it, packing orders and shipping them all cost real money. By charging exactly what those things cost, and nothing more, Shlichus Market pays for itself and keeps serving Shluchim year after year, without drawing on funds meant for other Shluchim Office programs.
Every dollar you save here is a dollar that goes back into your Shlichus: another program, another event, another family reached.
What your price covers

- ✓Shipping it to our Pennsylvania warehouse
- ✓Storage, packing and handling
- ✓Getting it to your door
What it doesn't cover: profit. There isn't any.
